“Rhetorical Awareness”

Q1: You are probably aware of the importance of Rhetorical reading thus far. I would like to know how you would access your use of rhetorical reading strategies and whether you will have any plans to improve your rhetorical skills and what are the plans?

When writing a paper i use Rhetorical when writing a paper for class. As my writing improves i use and practice my rhetorical reading. I also use rhetorical reading whe in reading one of my peers papers. My rhetorical strategies make the difference between my paper being a writer base prose and a reader base prose.

Q2: You are also expected to have a good understanding about Writer-Based Prose and Reader-Based Prose and the difference between them lies in the use of Rhetorical Strategies. I would like to know how you would differentiate the use of rhetorical strategies in writing (from reading as above) and what will be your plans to improve your rhetorical strategies in writing.

I would think about my audience when writing a paper and take into consideration what their thoughts mught be as i re-read the paper. An correct something in my work that doesnt make sense and try to change it to where it is easyer for the audience to understand and relate to.

What were your concerns about in an SQR? What would you like the group to consider, respond to, or evaluate on an SQR of yours?
I dont have specific concerns in the SQR, but in an SQR i would like for my class mates to evaluate me more on my weaknesses, and to tell me what some of my weakeness are so that way i can work on improving them and perfecting my writing.
How did you see/evaluate the comments you made on your peers’ papers? Honestly, do you think they were really helpful? (It’s ok that you can say no. If that’s the case, please state what made you unable to provide specific comments as you wished. It’s important for me to know how carefully you read your peers’ papers and how did you work on commenting your friends’ papers).
Some of the comments that my peers wrote on my paper did help me see and understand a little more of where and what my mistakes where most of the time. The constructive critisism was helpful to me because, most of the time i had misspelled words or i had words that didnt really make sense in a sertain sentece. Yes some of the comments i get on my paper arent really helpful ether because i sometimes dont agree with them, but that comes rare. Having comments that dont really help can actually help us be more selective of the comments that we feel are more helful to us. I commented on my peers paper by what i understood from the reading or what i felt like they where their weakest at. For example, lets say that one of my peers paper has really bad grammar but he kind of makes his poin. I would comment more on his grammar due to the fact that grammer is his/her weakest.
